Uttar Pradesh politics heats up: O.P. Rajbhar attacks Akhilesh Yadav as BJP chief Nitin Nirav begins state tour

Cabinet minister O.P. Rajbhar of Uttar Pradesh sharply criticised Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, accusing his party of discriminating against Dalit and other backward communities. Rajbhar warned he would continue fighting for the respect of these groups, even if it meant enduring personal attacks.

Meanwhile, BJP national president Nitin Nirav arrived in Lucknow for a two‑day tour of Uttar Pradesh aimed at strengthening the party’s organization ahead of the 2027 state assembly elections. He is scheduled to meet senior party officials, legislators and local leaders, and to address a conference of regional coordinators to mobilise grassroots workers.
