Uttar Pradesh reports woman slashing father‑in‑law and son killing father in separate family crimes

In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a 23‑year‑old woman identified as Sayyeda attacked her 67‑year‑old father‑in‑law, Zakir, with a blade, injuring his genital area. She told police the man had repeatedly "harassed" and allegedly raped her while her husband was away, and neighbors reported she had repeatedly warned that he was "doing wrong". Police transferred the victim to a district hospital and took Sayyeda into custody.
