Uttar Pradesh to distribute 100,000 government jobs in six months
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a major employment drive, setting a target to distribute 100,000 government job appointment letters over the next six months. The initiative aims to expedite pending recruitment processes across various departments before the implementation of the election code of conduct.
During a recent ceremony in Lucknow, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to 818 selected candidates in sectors including Ayush, medical and health, skill development, and micro, small, and medium enterprises. Specific roles filled included X-ray technicians, Ayush department staff, and instructors for vocational education.
The government plans to hold large-scale state-level events every week to distribute these letters. While the 100,000 figure is an aggregate goal rather than the result of a single examination, the drive will involve multiple recruitment boards and departments to address existing vacancies.
