Uttarakhand Ayurved University students protest four-year exam result delay

Students of Uttarakhand Ayurved University in Dehradun staged a protest on the Harrawala campus after four years of pending examination results and the failure to hold subsequent exams. Some Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) students climbed a water tank to draw attention to their demands, while others held a sit‑in.

Police were deployed to maintain order, and a scuffle broke out between a few protesters and officers. university officials, including the Vice‑Chancellor, entered talks with the demonstrators in an effort to resolve the standoff and arrange a timetable for declaring the results and conducting the missed examinations.
