Uttarakhand Premier League 2026 set to begin September 21

The third edition of the Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 21 to October 1 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Raipur, Dehradun. Organized by the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, the tournament includes both men’s and women’s competitions.

The women’s tournament begins on September 21 with matches featuring the Pithoragarh Hurricanes, Dehradun Warriors, Bageshwar Aerial, and Mussoorie Queens. The men’s competition follows on September 22, opening with a match between Haridwar Elmas and Nainital Tigers. The men’s league features seven teams: Pithoragarh Hurricanes, USN Indians, Nainital Tigers, Rishikesh River Kings, Haridwar Elmas, Tehri Titans, and Dehradun Warriors.

Following a players’ draft held on September 16, squads have been finalized, comprising icon players, established cricketers, and Under-23 and Under-19 talent. Officials noted that the league serves as a vital platform for local players to gain visibility ahead of the IPL auction period.
