Uttarakhand Premier League announces seven Icon Players for 2026 season

The Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) has announced seven Icon Players ahead of its third season. The Players’ Draft is scheduled to take place on September 16, 2026.

The designated Icon Players for the 2026 season are Akash Madhwal, Jagadeesha Suchith, Kunal Chandela, Avneesh Sudha, Yuvraj Chaudhary, Tejasvi Jaiswal, and Mayank Mishra. This upcoming edition is noted as the final state-level T20 league before the IPL 2027 season.

Kiran Verma, Secretary of the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand (CAU), stated that the league has grown significantly over its first two seasons, serving as an important platform for local talent to gain recognition and advance their professional careers.
