UTTO lubricant essential for tractor transmissions and wet brakes

UTTO (Universal Tractor Transmission Oil) is a specialised lubricant designed for the rear‑end systems of tractors, including the transmission, hydraulic circuit, power‑take‑off (PTO), clutches and wet‑type brakes. It lacks the detergents and dispersants required for engine use and must never be added to the engine crankcase.

Correct use of UTTO provides the precise friction coefficient needed for wet brakes, ensuring stable, progressive braking. Using an unsuitable oil can cause "brake chatter" vibrations, loss of braking effectiveness known as "fading", premature wear of brake discs and deposit formation, leading to costly repairs and reduced equipment lifespan.
