Uvala Duba Beach near Makarska boasts crystal‑clear sea and pine forest
Uvala Duba is a secluded pebble beach located a few minutes from Drvenik on Croatia’s Makarska Riviera. The cove is framed by a dense pine forest and offers turquoise‑blue, crystal‑clear waters that shift from light blue to deep blue as the shore is approached. The beach is largely untouched, with no cafés, shops or loud music, providing a quiet setting for families, couples and nature lovers.
Access to the cove is possible by car or boat; a short walk from the Adriatic Highway leads through Mediterranean vegetation scented with pine, rosemary and lavender. Because parking spots along the highway are limited, visitors are advised to arrive early or late in the day and bring their own food and water. The gentle pebble seabed makes it safe for children, while the surrounding forest supplies natural shade throughout the day.
