UVAQ supports Mexican producers in international export efforts
The Universidad Vasco de Quiroga (UVAQ) in Mexico is implementing an advisory program to assist entrepreneurs and companies with internationalization strategies. Through its International Trade degree program, faculty and students provide guidance to producers to help them prepare products for global markets.
This initiative aims to leverage Mexico's position as one of the top ten global exporters of various goods, as noted by the World Trade Organization. One beneficiary of the program is Hugo Martínez, producer of Mezcal Respiro, who is working to export artisanal mezcal to markets including the United States and South American countries like Colombia.
