UYBA Busto Arsizio begins pre-season training and facility upgrades

Laica UYBA Busto Arsizio has entered the fourth week of its pre-season preparations for the 2026/27 season. The training schedule includes weight sessions and on-court drills at the e-work arena. A joint training session with Igor Volley Novara is scheduled for Friday at the Pala Igor.

The squad has been bolstered by the return of Valeria Battista and Dalila Marchesini following their summer commitments with the national team. Additionally, the club is expecting the arrival of Leana Grozer. The roster also includes several young players and veteran hitter Carlotta Zanotto, who is training with the team during the pre-season.

Amidst these athletic preparations, UYBA General Director Mattia Moro has highlighted the need for structural improvements to the e-work arena. Moro emphasized that for a club maintaining its position at the top of the women's Serie A1 for twenty years, modernizing facilities is essential to support its ambitious sporting and corporate projects.
