UYBA Volley moves Trofeo Mimmo Fusco to Monza

UYBA Volley has rescheduled the 22nd edition of the Trofeo Mimmo Fusco, a traditional pre-season volleyball tournament, to be held at the Opiquad Arena in Monza. The decision follows issues at the E-Work Arena in Busto Arsizio, where damage to the foyer forced the club to relocate its daily training sessions to the Centro Pavesi in Milan.

The tournament will take place on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19. The first semifinal on Friday will feature Laica UYBA against Millennium Brescia, followed by a match between VBC Cremonese and Club Italia. Due to the schedule changes, the third-place playoff has been canceled. The championship final is set for Saturday, September 19, at 17:30.

Tickets are priced at 10 euros for both days and must be purchased online via Vivaticket due to a concurrent Monza Calcio football match on Friday. Meanwhile, the club has not yet finalized its home venue for the Serie A1 season, with options including Varese's Itelyum Arena di Masnago or Monza.
