Uzak Şehir series details reveal cast transformations and filming locations

The Turkish television series ‘Uzak Şehir’, broadcast on Kanal D, has drawn significant interest regarding its cast and production details. Actress Gonca Cilasun, who portrays the character Sadakat Albora, revealed that she intentionally lost 8 kilograms to physically reflect the emotional devastation and guilt experienced by her character following the loss of a child.

The series features a prominent cast including Ozan Akbaba as Cihan Albora and Sinem Ünsal as Alya Albora. Other key cast members include Atakan Özkaya, Sahra Şaş, Ferit Kaya, and Alper Çankaya.

Filming for the production takes place in the Midyat district of Mardin, specifically utilizing the historical architecture and stone structures of the region. The Albora family mansion, a central setting in the show, is located in Narlı Village within Midyat.
