Uzbek triplet sisters continue medical training in Turkey

Triplet sisters Sabina, Medine, and Zarina Hamreyava, who began their medical studies in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, are continuing their education in Turkey. After completing five years of study at the Ibn-i Sina Bukhara Faculty of Medicine, part of the University of Health Sciences (SBÜ), the sisters are now performing their final-year internship at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital.

SBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kemalettin Aydın met with the students, noting that the university established the Bukhara faculty seven years ago to honor the heritage of Ibn-i Sina. The medical program is conducted in Turkish, and students graduate with diplomas from the Republic of Turkey. The triplets are expected to complete their internships by the end of June, after which they will return to Uzbekistan to provide healthcare services.
