Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan hold international forum in Tashkent

The IV Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan International Forum was held in Tashkent to discuss expanding bilateral relations and implementing joint projects. The event was organized with the support of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy and the Uzbekistan Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, alongside AZPROMO and the Uzbekistan Agency for Attraction of Foreign Investment.

Approximately 400 companies representing various sectors participated, including heavy industry, machinery, metallurgy, construction, textiles, agriculture, food, tourism, medicine, energy, and digital technology. Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayıl Cabbarov noted that the political will of the two nations' leaders provides a significant stimulus for diversifying economic ties and strengthening business partnerships.

Discussions focused on strengthening regional connections and enhancing cooperation in industry, investment, trade, energy, transport-transit, and digitalization. The Middle Corridor was highlighted as a primary direction for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
