Uzbekistan national found safe after three days missing in Istanbul
Sarvinoz Jahongirova, a 13-year-old Uzbekistan national, has been found after being missing for three days in Istanbul. The disappearance occurred on August 28 in the Beyoğlu district when Jahongirova left her home to find her sister.
After several days of searching by her family and the Istanbul Police Department's Missing Children's Bureau, Jahongirova managed to find her way to the Uzbekistan Consulate in Beşiktaş on her own. Consulate officials notified her family of her safety. She is expected to be reunited with her family shortly.
