Uzungöl aims for 12-month tourism season

Erkut Çelebi, President of the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO), met with tourism operators in Uzungöl to discuss expanding the region's tourism season to a full 12 months. Currently limited to summer months, officials aim to develop spring, autumn, and winter tourism to attract more visitors, particularly from the European market.

Discussions included potential investments in winter tourism such as ski facilities, cable cars, and mountain sledding. Local business representatives also highlighted infrastructure needs, including natural gas access to reduce heating costs, improved waste management, water infrastructure, and solutions for summer traffic congestion and parking.
