V. Bitinas appointed head of Registrų centras

V. Bitinas has been appointed as the new head of Registrų centras, effective September 10. The appointment was finalized by the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Edvinas Grikšas, following a successful competition process.

Bitinas, an informatics engineer with over 20 years of leadership and technology management experience, currently holds board positions at Regitros and the LTG Competence Center. He has also served as the technology director for LTG group since November 2022 and previously held leadership roles at Amber Grid, Epso-G, and Lietuvos paštas.

As the new leader, Bitinas aims to prioritize data security, ensure the reliable operation of information systems, and strengthen technological defenses and resilience. His goals include modernizing the center's systems and enhancing service quality for both citizens and businesses while building public trust through high cybersecurity standards.
