Võ Hoàng Minh Khoa called to Vietnam national team

Midfielder Võ Hoàng Minh Khoa has been called up to the Vietnam national football team by coach Kim Sang-sik to participate in the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026. He joins the squad as a replacement for Nguyễn Quang Hải, who is sidelined due to injury.

Minh Khoa received the sudden summons while on a vacation in Mui Ne with his wife, Huỳnh Thanh Ngân. The unexpected call-up required the couple to cut their trip short to allow the player to report for training and prepare for the upcoming tournament in Indonesia.
