V. League Round 3: Nam Định and Ninh Bình face off at Thiên Trường

Round 3 of the 2026-2027 V. League features a high-stakes matchup between Nam Định and Ninh Bình at Thiên Trường Stadium. Ninh Bình enters the match in strong form with two consecutive wins, sitting in second place. A victory would bring them to 9 points, matching the league leader, Công an Hà Nội (CAHN). Nam Định, currently fifth with 3 points, faces challenges as they will be without Ezequiel Santos Da Silva and Trần Văn Kiên due to suspensions.

Earlier in the round, CAHN secured a 3-0 victory against Đồng Nai, maintaining a perfect record with 9 points from three matches. Meanwhile, Hà Nội FC faces significant pressure to secure a win against newcomer Bắc Ninh to end a two-game losing streak and alleviate pressure on manager Harry Kewell. Other scheduled fixtures include Thể Công - Viettel against Hà Tĩnh, Hoàng Anh Gia Lai against Đà Nẵng, and Hải Phòng against Thanh Hóa.
