V-Xpress plans to double monthly cargo volumes through service expansion
V-Xpress, the express cargo division of V-Trans (India) Ltd., is expanding its Appointment Delivery service to support quick commerce, modern trade, and organized retail sectors. The service allows suppliers to deliver consignments within pre-agreed warehouse receiving slots, aiming to reduce waiting times, rejected consignments, and penalties.
Currently handling approximately 10,000 tonnes of cargo per month, the company intends to double this volume over the next year. V-Xpress operates through more than 40 dedicated centers with a total storage capacity of 50,000 sq. ft. and is developing additional touchpoints in the Narasapura and Dabaspet industrial areas.
As part of a broader expansion in Karnataka, the company is adding more than 15 new outlets, a move expected to create over 150 jobs. The network will cover several regions, including Bengaluru, Bijapur, Gulbarga, Mangalore, Davangere, Sirsi, Bagalkot, and Devanahalli, as well as industrial areas such as Harohalli, Jigani, Hindupur, and Bidadi. To enhance visibility, the company utilizes GPS-based tracking, electronic proof of delivery (e-POD), and is finalizing API integration with partner platforms.
