V&A Dundee hosts architectural exhibitions and tributes

V&A Dundee is hosting several architectural exhibitions this summer, including ‘Ushida Findlay: Unbroken Spaces’. This exhibition showcases the creative practice of the Ushida Findlay Partnership through 35mm slides, ink drawings, digitized video, and interview footage. The display highlights the work of the late Kathryn Findlay, a prominent Scottish architect and the first female architect elected as a Royal Scottish Academician.

Separately, the museum's iconic structure, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, has inspired creative tributes. The building, which opened in 2018 on the Dundee waterfront, is noted for its complex form inspired by Scottish cliffs, featuring twisting walls and horizontal concrete panels.
