Vacarisses to host Mercat Origen Montserrat local market

The municipality of Vacarisses will host a new edition of the Mercat Origen Montserrat this Saturday, September 19. Organized by the Parc Rural de Montserrat, the Barcelona Provincial Council, and the Vacarisses City Council, the event aims to promote local producers and products from the surrounding mountain region.

Taking place at Plaça Joan Bayà from 10:00 to 14:00, the market will feature products such as wine, cava, oil, bread, cheese, and sweets. The initiative is part of a traveling market circuit designed to support local agriculture and peasantry while promoting tourism across the four regions of the Parc Rural de Montserrat.

In addition to the market stalls, the event includes various activities such as DJ performances, tastings, and workshops for both adults and children. Competitions, including traditional contests, and a product raffle are also scheduled.
