Vacchi family acquires Hotel de la Poste in Cortina d’Ampezzo
Cortina Holding, controlled by Alberto Vacchi’s family holding ALVA, has acquired 100% of the Hotel de la Poste from the Manaigo and Esposito families. The acquisition marks the end of a 220-year era for the hotel, which has been linked to the Manaigo family since 1804.
The historic four-star property located in Piazza Roma is slated for a major redevelopment to reposition it as a five-star luxury hotel. The renovation plan involves reducing the number of rooms from 73 to approximately 55 to create larger guest rooms and luxury suites.
Additional planned upgrades include the addition of two restaurants, a spa, and dedicated event spaces. The project will also feature the restoration of the historic Bar del Posta. The hotel will remain open to the public while awaiting the commencement of renovation works.
