Vaccination and health training initiatives launched in Mexico and Argentina
In Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, Mexico, the local government has launched the ‘Vacunar es Amar’ vaccination campaign. In coordination with state and federal authorities, the initiative aims to protect the population, particularly vulnerable groups, against influenza and COVID-19 ahead of the winter season. Vaccines will be available through free municipal medical offices and other designated application points.
In Formosa, Argentina, the Ministry of Human Development and the Sumar+ program conducted an intensive training session for health teams at the Hospital Odontológico de Complejidad Integrada. The program focuses on strengthening the provincial public health system by improving the quality of service records and resource management. This training aims to ensure effective basic coverage for individuals without formal social security, spanning from newborns to the elderly.
