In a large-scale comparison by IMTEST involving 22 models from brands such as Dyson, Bosch, and Samsung, the Shark PowerDetect Speed Luxe Collection Clean & Empty was named the overall winner. This model was noted for its strong cleaning performance on both carpets and hard floors, particularly regarding pet hair, and features a Clean-&-Empty station that automatically empties the dust container and charges the battery.

For budget-conscious consumers, the Beldray Airgility Cordless Pet+ was highlighted as the best value for money due to its low retail price. In the sub-200 Euro category, the Tineco A30S Plus was identified as a top choice, praised for its automatic suction regulation, HEPA-H13 filter, and effectiveness on carpets, despite having moderate battery life. The Rowenta X-Pert 7.60 RH6A33 was also noted as a compact and maneuverable option suitable for small apartments, though it features a smaller dust container and lower suction power.
