Vacuum-mop hybrid appliance market grows in France
The market for vacuum-mop hybrid appliances is seeing significant growth in France, with sales value increasing by 66% in 2025. Floor maintenance now accounts for approximately one-third of the French small domestic appliance market turnover.
Despite this trend, adoption remains relatively low; a survey conducted for Roborock indicated that only 11% of adults own a vacuum-mop, with higher ownership (18%) seen among the 25-34 age demographic. Price remains a primary barrier, with 57% of respondents considering these devices too expensive.
Recent market offerings include various models under 300 euros featuring laser navigation, mopping functions, and anti-tangle brushes. Popular models include the iRobot Roomba 115 Combo, which offers high suction power but requires manual maintenance, and the Dreame D20 Pro Plus, which includes an automatic emptying station. Other notable brands in the current selection include Roborock, which offers both manual and station-based models.
