Vadzo Imaging unveils Falcon-234CGS camera for insurance telematics

Vadzo Imaging announced the Falcon-234CGS, a compact camera module built around the Onsemi AR0234 image sensor. The device uses a global shutter and connects via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, delivering distortion‑free 2 MP color images with event‑triggered capture and an integrated 9‑axis inertial measurement unit.

Designed for usage‑based insurance programs, fleet telematics, driver‑behavior monitoring and aftermarket dash‑cam or black‑box recorders, the Falcon‑234CGS eliminates the rolling‑shutter artifacts that can impair incident review. Its plug‑and‑play UVC‑compliant design reduces the need for custom drivers, allowing faster integration into connected‑vehicle devices. The product was positioned from Vadzo Imaging’s Fort Worth, Texas facility and is being promoted to manufacturers of insurance telematics and connected‑vehicle systems worldwide.
