Vaewolf Milky Tea hack and slash PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct video game trailer

Milky Tea, a studio shortlisted for BAFTA and Emmy awards, has released a new story trailer for its upcoming hack-and-slash game, Vaewolf, during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct. Published by Megabit, the title is set in a reimagined version of ancient Northern England.

Players control the Vaewolf, a hybrid of a werewolf and a vampire, on a quest for vengeance against a Viking clan. The gameplay features three distinct forms: the precision of an Elf, the raw fury of a Werewolf, and the dark magic of a Vampire. The game's hand-drawn environments are inspired by the Lake District in Cumbria and the visual styles of Hergé and Mike Mignola.

Vaewolf is scheduled for release in early 2027 on Windows PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
