Vaglia authorities request inspection of former Guido Banti Sanatorium

Local authorities in Vaglia have announced that an inspection of the former Guido Banti Sanatorium has been requested from ASL Toscana Centro. This follows an appeal from the Idra volunteer association, which has been advocating for the revitalization of the site.

The facility has reportedly remained dormant for approximately forty years. The initiative follows a recent study conference titled ‘Ex Sanatorio Guido Banti, un mosaico da ricomporre’, which involved scholars and cultural promoters aiming to address the status of the historical structure.
