Vagner Love holds farewell match for CSKA Moscow
Brazilian striker Vagner Love held a farewell match at the VEB Arena in Moscow, attended by over 27,000 fans. The friendly match featured a contest between CSKA legends and a team of Vagner Love’s friends.
During the event, Vagner Love played for both sides and scored for each, contributing to a 3-3 draw. The match included several notable players, such as Alan Dzagoev and Yuri Zhirkov for the CSKA side, while the opposing team featured players like Renato Augusto and Kléberson.
Vagner Love, who retired from professional football in March, is the second-highest scorer in CSKA history with 132 goals in 276 matches and 15 trophies won with the club. During the tributes, he received a congratulatory message from Ronaldinho Gaúcho, praising his incredible career and status as a legend in Russia.
