Vaibhav Sooryavanshi benched during India's West Indies series

Former Indian spinner Murali Karthik has expressed support for Gautam Gambhir and Shreyas Iyer following the decision to bench Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during India’s five-match series against the West Indies.

Karthik defended the management's choice, noting that while Sooryavanshi is an exciting talent, players often need to remain patient for opening slots to become available due to injuries or form fluctuations. The decision comes amid discussions regarding the team's lineup, specifically involving Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma, who maintained their positions in the squad despite inconsistent performances during the series.
