Vaibhav Sooryavanshi targets all formats as India A debut impresses in Sri Lanka

India's 15‑year‑old batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, fresh from an Orange Cap‑winning IPL season with 776 runs, said his "ultimate dream is to play all three formats for India" and that he has been practising with the red ball for Test cricket.

Representing India A in the opening ODI of a triangular series in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, Sooryavanshi hit a boundary on his first ball and went on to score 14 runs from 12 deliveries before being bowled by the same bowler. His brief but aggressive knock set the tone for the young striker's ambition to succeed across Test, ODI and T20 cricket.
