Vail Valley concludes summer season with charity fundraiser
The Vail Valley is concluding its summer lift-served operations this weekend, with the final day of summer activities scheduled for September 27, 2026. Key mountain lifts, including Gondola One in Vail Village, the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead Village, and the Centennial Lift in Beaver Creek, will complete their summer runs before the fall shoulder season.
A central feature of the weekend is the 18th annual Hike, Wine & Dine fundraiser. This event aims to raise $230,000 for the Vail Health Shaw Cancer Center’s Spirit of Survival program and Jack’s Place. The fundraiser includes a five-mile hike through Beaver Creek featuring gourmet tasting stations from local restaurants and an Après Hike Party.
To mark the season's end, Vail Resorts is offering discounts on lodging, food, and equipment rentals. Various recreational activities, such as mini-golf, tubing, and mountain coasters, remain available through the weekend. Vail Mountain is scheduled to reopen for the ski season on November 13, followed by Beaver Creek on November 25.
