Vailate and Misano appoint first shared archpriest-parish priest

Don Piergiorgio Tizzi has officially begun his role as the new archpriest-parish priest of Vailate and Misano. During a solemn mass presided over by the Bishop of Cremona, Antonio Napolioni, the appointment marked a significant structural change for the two communities, as they are now guided by a single priest for the first time in their history.

Don Tizzi will reside in Vailate and will be assisted by parish collaborator Don Franco Sudati. During the ceremony, Bishop Napolioni emphasized the importance of the Church engaging directly with the community and entering the homes of those suffering, describing the need for a Church that evolves to serve humanity.
