VAIO announces hardware discounts and official wellness software release

VAIO has announced several updates regarding its mobile computing lineup and health-focused software. The company is currently running an ‘Autumn Campaign 2026’ for the VAIO SX12 | ALL BLACK EDITION, a 12.5-inch premium mobile notebook weighing approximately 899g. The campaign offers a 45,000 yen discount, bringing the price down to 246,500 yen until November 17. This specific edition features a unified black design, including a glossy black VAIO logo and an optional ‘hidden engraving keyboard’ where characters become visible when the backlight is active.

In addition to hardware promotions, VAIO has released the official version of ‘VAIO Wellness Care.’ This software utilizes non-contact AI sensing technology via the laptop’s built-in webcam to estimate vascular and heart rate information from a user’s face in as little as three seconds. The official release includes improved image adjustment algorithms and new features for saving and loading measurement data. Compatible models include the VAIO SX14-R, VAIO T, and VAIO T work.
