VakıfBank launches 10 billion TL circular economy financing package

VakıfBank has launched a Zero Waste and Circular Economy Financing Package in collaboration with the Zero Waste Foundation to support Turkey’s sustainable development goals. The initiative aims to provide financing for businesses looking to transform their production and business processes toward circular economy models, focusing on resource efficiency, waste reduction, and the reintegration of recoverable materials into the economy.

In the first phase, the bank aims to provide 10 billion TL in financing to over 500 institutions and projects. The package includes various options such as investment loans of up to 50 million TL with terms of up to 60 months, large-scale project financing with terms up to 120 months, and working capital support of up to 10 million TL for up to 24 months. Additionally, 3 billion TL in KGF guarantee support is planned to facilitate access to circular transformation investments, particularly for SMEs.

VakıfBank General Manager Osman Arslan stated that the package is a key part of the bank’s Development-Oriented Value Banking strategy. He emphasized the bank's role in accelerating the necessary economic transformation and protecting national resources through long-term, sustainability-focused financing.
