VakıfBank signs Serbian spiker Vanja Ivanovic

Turkish volleyball powerhouse VakıfBank announced the signing of 22‑year‑old Serbian outside hitter Vanja Ivanovic as part of its roster planning for the 2024‑2025 season. Ivanovic, who previously played for ZOK Leskovac 98, OK Zeleznicar and Korabelka, helped her club win the Serbian League championship and was named the league’s most valuable player. She also earned a bronze medal with the Serbia national team at the 2022 Mediterranean Games.

Speaking after the transfer, Ivanovic said, “I am very happy to see my dream come true. I look forward to wearing the VakıfBank jersey and am here to win cups and championships.” The club highlighted her experience and ambition as key assets for its continued success in domestic and international competitions.
