Val di Sangro Expò concludes with focus on agriculture and infrastructure

The Val di Sangro Expò 2026 in Atessa has concluded with a positive assessment of its various thematic sessions. The CIA Chieti-Pescara participation, titled ‘CIA Green Experience’, drew thousands of visitors to Piazza Abruzzo, focusing on connecting farmers directly with consumers through tastings and educational activities regarding food supply chains.

Economic and infrastructural discussions were central to the event. Participants proposed the creation of a permanent observatory for subsidized finance to help local businesses access growth incentives more effectively. Additionally, sessions addressed the critical need for improved infrastructure in the Val di Sangro and Abruzzo regions, specifically highlighting the importance of completing the SS 652 Fondovalle Sangro and enhancing logistics to maintain industrial competitiveness.
