Val McDowall launches memoir and psychic dinner in Surrey

Author, artist, and psychic medium Val McDowall is releasing her debut memoir, ‘The Queen of Wands: Adventures of a Modern Mystic, Magical Memoirs’, on October 31. The 378-page book details her twenty-year transition from a corporate professional to a psychic medium following her move from Scotland to Canada.

To celebrate the launch, a ‘Tandoori & Tarot’ dinner event for 24 guests will be held on November 5 at Bandra Café in Newton. The event features fine dining and live intuitive tarot readings. McDowall, who has lived in Surrey since 2013, also painted a 27-foot mural at the restaurant.
