Val Saint-Lambert hosts Monte Cristo spectacle for bicentennial

A new large-scale production titled ‘La Légende du Comte de Monte-Cristal’ has premiered at the Val Saint-Lambert abbey in Seraing. Created by Luc Petit, the show is part of the bicentennial celebrations for the historic crystalworks.

The performance utilizes monumental projections, music, and live performers, including singers, dancers, and acrobats. A unique crystal-forged saber has been created specifically for the event. The production, which draws inspiration from the tale of Edmond Dantès, is scheduled to run until September 27, 2026.
