Casamonti Collection moves to Palazzo San Giorgio in Florence

The Casamonti Collection is relocating to Palazzo San Giorgio in Florence. Starting Monday, September 28, the exhibition will feature approximately 250 works spanning over a century of art history, from the 19th century to the present day.

The collection is organized across 28 rooms on two levels of the historic building. The exhibition aims to create a dialogue between Italian and international art, showcasing movements such as Futurism, Metaphysical Painting, Cubism, and Abstract art. Notable artists included in the display are Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Salvador Dalí, Max Ernst, René Magritte, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Burri, Piero Manzoni, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Bill Viola, Marina Abramović, Anselm Kiefer, Anish Kapoor, and Maurizio Cattelan.
