Valcucine launches new kitchen concepts at Milan Design Week 2026

Italian kitchen maker Valcucine presented its "Crafting Forward" project during Milan Design Week 2026, showcasing a blend of traditional craftsmanship and industrial innovation. The exhibition highlighted new models such as the elm‑wood "Archigrafica" range and the ultra‑thin glass‑door "Ritica" series, and introduced the brand’s new CEO Damil Escherika, who emphasized extending Valcucine’s system beyond the kitchen into whole‑home interiors.

At the same Eurocucina trade fair, Miele’s design director Yents Koineke described a shift toward experiential displays that treat the kitchen as a living interface. Highlights included AI‑driven food‑loss‑reduction concepts, compact urban kitchen solutions, and collaborations such as SKS with Schiffini. Other exhibitors like V‑ZUG, Gaggenau and the Japanese brand Meisdel demonstrated rounded forms and hidden‑kitchen designs that blur the line between cooking space and living area.
