Valdefuentes del Páramo residents protest community hall construction

Residents of Valdefuentes del Páramo held a protest against the commencement of construction works on the local community hall. The political group Unión del Pueblo Leonesista (UPL) has called on the City Council to temporarily halt the project to allow for the technical study of alternative proposals.

Approximately one hundred residents gathered to express their opposition to the municipal project and demand explanations from Mayor José Luis Martínez Valderrey. During the demonstration, UPL representatives presented alternative plans to the mayor and requested a new meeting of the works commission to discuss the matter further.
