Valdemiro Santiago claims 6x1 work schedule was created by God

During a religious service in São Paulo, Apostle Valdemiro Santiago, leader of the Igreja Mundial do Poder de Deus, claimed that the 6x1 work schedule—consisting of six days of work and one day of rest—was created by God. Santiago cited biblical passages regarding work and rest to support his argument. The event was attended by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro and São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas.

Santiago also discussed political ambitions and international connections, stating his intention to visit the United States next year to meet with Donald Trump. He was accompanied by Martin De Luca, an American lawyer representing Rumble and Trump Media & Technology Group. De Luca has previously been mentioned in investigations involving Jair Bolsonaro regarding U.S. sanctions and legal disputes involving Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes.

Social media reactions to the service were mixed, with some users criticizing the religious leader for using the pulpit to address political and labor issues.
