Valdepeñas and Cognac celebrate 30 years of twinning

The Spanish town of Valdepeñas and the French city of Cognac are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their twinning agreement. To mark the milestone, a delegation of over thirty residents from Cognac, led by Deputy Mayor Nadège Skoller, was officially received by Valdepeñas Deputy Mayor Vanessa Irla.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, 25 local families in Valdepeñas have opened their homes to the visiting French delegation. The commemorative program includes various cultural activities, such as musical performances by the Dulcimer choir and Los Justos y Más, a French film cycle, and an online Cognac tasting session organized through the University of Cognac and the Valdepeñas Popular University.
