Vale do Éden Natura & Spa to open in Oliveira de Frades

The Vale do Éden Natura & Spa is scheduled to open on August 28 in Virela, Arcozelo das Maias, within the Oliveira de Frades municipality. Developed by entrepreneur Fernando Almeida, the project aims to promote nature and wellness tourism in the Lafões region by utilizing the landscape of the Vouga River valley.

The establishment features 13 accommodation units, including 10 independent suites suspended on the hillside designed to offer views of the river and surrounding scenery. Amenities include a swimming pool, leisure areas, massage services, an outdoor fireplace, and walkways leading down to the river.

This project follows Almeida’s previous work with Herdade do Amarelo Nature & Spa on the Alentejo Coast. The new venture is intended to support the local economy, create employment, and enhance the tourism profile of Oliveira de Frades through sustainable practices.
