Vale do Jequitinhonha ceramics to be exhibited in Paris

Ceramic sculptures from the Vale do Jequitinhonha region in Brazil will be showcased in Paris as part of Paris Design Week. Between September 10 and 14, approximately 150 pieces produced by artisans from four different communities will be presented at Maison & Objet, a major international trade fair for decoration, design, and art.

In addition to the main fair, the works will be featured in an exclusive exhibition titled ‘A Terra modelada pela arte – Vale do Jequitinhonha’ at the Ricardo Fernandes Gallery in the Marais district from September 8 to 18. Curated by Marco Aurélio Pulchério, the exhibition aims to internationalize the craftsmanship of Minas Gerais, positioning the region's traditional pottery as a global reference for authenticity and cultural value.
