Vale to auction three Airbus executive helicopters

Mining company Vale is auctioning three Airbus executive helicopters via an online public auction scheduled for September 30. The auction is being conducted by Palácio dos Leilões in Minas Gerais.

The lot includes two aircraft with over two decades of use and one larger VIP model. Current combined bids in the auction system have already reached R$ 35.42 million, though these figures are provisional as bidding remains open until the end of the month.

The specific aircraft include:

• An Airbus EC155B1 (PR-VSA) manufactured in 2010, configured for VIP executive transport, with a current bid of R$ 16.32 million. • An Airbus EC135P2 (PR-HZA) manufactured in 2005, with a bid reaching R$ 11.345 million. • An Airbus EC135P2 (PR-HZB) manufactured in 2005, with a recent bid of R$ 7.752 million.

These aircraft have historically supported the company's logistical and corporate operations, frequently flying in the Carajás mineral region and Belo Horizonte.
