Valea Bujorului water supply to be suspended for emergency repairs

In Valea Bujorului, Apa Service SA Giurgiu has announced a temporary suspension of the drinking water supply scheduled from September 7 to September 14, 2026. The interruption is necessary for urgent emergency interventions on a water supply borehole that requires desilting works.

During this period, teams will also perform cleaning, washing, and disinfection of the water storage reservoir. Authorities noted that the duration of the suspension may be extended depending on the complexity of the desilting process. Residents are advised to secure water reserves and utilize alternative sources, such as private wells, if possible.
