Valence invests €820,000 in school renovations

The municipality of Valence is investing €820,650 this summer to modernize 14 school establishments. The renovation campaign aims to improve learning environments for students and working conditions for teaching and extracurricular staff.

The projects range from simple repainting to significant structural renovations, such as roof repairs and the replacement of woodwork. This initiative follows previous large-scale investments, including €10 million for Abel school and €4 million for Bayet school.

Key projects include the Jean-de-La-Fontaine nursery school, which is receiving €124,625 for the renovation of classrooms, dormitories, and motor skill rooms, and the Chony nursery school, which is undergoing a near-complete renovation with a budget of €65,000.
